Cue the rain

Week two has come to an end. On Thursday, we did some poor man's process work in Meddin Studios. Friday found us shooting on an Amtrak train while riding to South Carolina. Then we got in some real process trailer work on Saturday, until we got rained out. And today, we shot at the airport before getting rained on again on East Broad street.

Our TSJP crew will now dry out, clean up, and get ready for Wednesday.

Back in the Saddle

Week two began today, with our TSJP crew visiting Boy II Men barber shop and J. Parker Limited.

Our six day of shooting was short, but nothing is ever easy when you shoot downtown during business hours while the shops are open.

We appreciate the patience and openness of the management and staff who welcomed us into their places of business.

And a special thanks to Jenn Bird for amusing us all with her always entertaining slate calls.

Scene 33-Gigglepuss, Take 2

Thanks so much to the staff of Sunshine Breakfast in Richmond Hill. And with that, our first week of shooting is wrapped.

I don't want to jinx us, but our shoot is going very, very well. We owe it all to our unbelievable crew. Every single person working on this project has been extremely important and has contributed so much.

The next two days, we will rest up, do some laundry, and then continue making this little opus.

The Man on The Private Island

Day four was our latest night yet. We wrapped at Dr. Richard Greco's house last night just before midnight. We want to thank the doctor for allowing us to use of his garage and office.

Going up.

Day three is now behind us. We say goodbye to the friendly staff of the Towneplace Marriott. Thanks so much for letting us take over your lobby and elevators for two days. If our other locations are as accommodating and accepting of us, we're in for a wonderful shoot.

We also had our first screening of dailies, which left us extremely satisfied. They really help to put these past three days into perspective of what we did right and what we can improve upon.

So far, so good. Whoever is holding the other shoe, don't drop it just yet.

Checking in

Day two is in the can. Our first shoot at Towneplace Suites is over and the crew's teamwork continues to be very strong. Tomorrow we finish with the hotel hallway and lobby; it should be our shortest day this week.

Picture's up!

Day One of production is wrapped. Shooting at Amtrak went very well. Four scenes finished. Two fingers cut. One hour of rain. And we're off and running.

Today's Player of the Game award goes to Corey Critser, for keeping us all on schedule and focused. Thanks to all of the Extras who showed up and were incredibly patient with us.

The cast and crew also weathered their first exterior day in this brutal Savannah heat. We're all looking forward to the rest of the week where we will enjoy cool air conditioned sets.
